Designed by KENNY MILLER

The musical history lesson no-one asked for but everyone needs! SCOTS is the story ofScotland. Its past, present and future. Its people and places, triumphs and failures. All told by a figure who has seen it all... Someone who witnessed the Picts and the Celts unite; who survived the battles of Stirling and Bannockburn; who heard the declaration of Arbroath; who witnessed Scottish Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution, the charge for women’s rights, the battle for gay rights, the call for Independence-basically someone who’s seen some amount of s**t-Scotland’s greatest invention ... The Toilet!

SCOTS is an irreverent, hilarious and poignant journey through the history of Scotland insixty riotous minutes. A multi-skilled ensemble retell some of our nation's most iconic (andsome forgotten) stories, all to answer the fundamental question: What makes a country?Following ecstatic reviews at the EdinburghFringe, this 'truly incredible' (Broadway World)show has been upscaled and will tour main stages across Scotland, as a Raw Materialproduction, in association with Beacon Arts.

Scott Gilmour and Claire McKenzie’s story, music and lyrics grasp comedy by the neck and squeeze out every last gasp of hilarity, but there’s something far more to this musical than… a few historical figures. There’s something genuinely beautiful and progressive about this.
